We all know about the British car prices rip-off, with British motorists paying up to double the price for their cars. We also know about the British travel and air fares rip-off, the British food and supermarkets rip-off.
What about the High Street gold jewellery rip-off?
British shoppers are paying double the price for some gold jewellery in High Street jewellers, compared with internet prices.

Lets take a simple example:-
A 9 carat gold gent's one ounce bracelet sells at £199 in Argos the discount catalogue showroom, but only £153 from Chard's 9 Carat Gold website (www.9carat.co.uk). That's over 20% saving. In branches of many of the largest multiple jewellery retailers, they don't know or won't tell you the weight even if you ask! We shopped around and found similar bracelets retailing at £300 and over. Eventually, we got a price out of E. J. of £480!
Obviously it isn't quite so simple, because there are different qualities and styles.

So how do we do it!
There's no big secret. For 35 years we have been selling gold by mail order. We don't pay 6 figure High Street rents. We just sell high quality products at good value prices.

The Internet = A New Development
Previously, only a few local people knew about us. Now thanks to the internet, we receive daily enquiries world-wide. We believe that the internet can help shoppers to find incredible bargains which are not available in the High Street stores or supermarkets.
